Lithuanian Foreign Minister on Belarus: All Options Are on the Table
Aug.12 -- Following a contentious election, in which incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko claimed a landslide victory, principle opposition candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya fled to neighboring Lithuania. Linas Linkevicius, the Lithuanian Foreign Minister, spoke to Bloomberg's Matt Miller, on Wednesday August 12th, about Tikhanovskaya and about the need to consider sanctions against Belarus. On Friday, EU foreign ministers are holding a special meeting to discuss the unrest in Belarus.
