Man Overcome With Emotion After Being Reunited With Missing Support Companion

A man in Watsonville, California, broke down in tears after being reunited with his emotional support dog that was missing for three days, local police said.

In footage posted by Watsonville police on September 22, a police officer knocks on the door of a man’s home to reunite him with his lost dog.

Police said the man, who they called Gary, had reported his “emotional support companion”, Arrow, missing on Saturday.

They said they found the Champion Doberman Pinscher, valued at more than $3,000, three days later after identifying a woman who had found Arrow and taken him home.

“There was nothing but tears of joy when Officer Angel Hernandez reunited Gary with his best friend,” police said. Credit: Watsonville Police Department via Storyful
