Ohio Medical Workers Prepare to Dispense Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

Medical workers in Wilmington, Ohio, were preparing to dispense doses of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to local seniors, health officials said on March 4.

Ohio was the first state in the US to provide the newly approved vaccine to residents. On March 2, an 86-year-old woman was vaccinated in Columbus.

This footage, shared by the Clinton County Health Department, shows a health care worker drawing a dose of the vaccine from a vial. The department said the first doses would go to “homebound seniors.” Credit: Clinton County Health Department via Storyful
