Pair of Wombats Work to Clip Canberra Lawn

A woman put a pair of wombats to work to clip her lawn in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

This footage, filmed by wildlife carer Sharon Woodward, shows the two wombats, named Sylvie and Tina, happily chomping on the long grass in Woodward’s yard. In a post accompanying the video, Woodward said: “It was a beautiful day yesterday so I got the lawn clippers out. Good job girls.”

In other posts on Woodward’s Instagram page, she said the pair “had a tough start to life but are now loving life and focusing on their favourite things – sleeping and eating.” Credit: Sharon Woodward via Storyful
