RAF Airstrike Said to Destroy Islamic State Construction Equipment

RAF Tornado aircraft on January 24 were reported to have destroyed three mobile cranes operated by Islamic State militants and being used to repair damage from coalition airstrikes in Syria. The aircraft were said to have employed Brimstone missiles in the airstrike, specifically designed for use against armored vehicles and tanks. Tornado aircraft first entered service in 1980.
