Vans parent company VF Corp falling on Q4 earnings miss

VF Corp (VFC) — the apparel company that owns brands like Vans, Timberland, and Dickies — is seeing its stock drop in after-hours trading after missing on fiscal fourth-quarter revenue estimates — $2.37 billion against expectations of $2.41 billion — while reporting a loss of $0.32 per share.

Julie Hyman and Josh Lipton report on VF Corp's earnings results and headlines that it is appointing Paul Vogel as its new CFO.

We're talking about underwear and clothing VF Corporation and sneakers.

They might mention A I, you don't know, they certainly could.

Maybe you can, maybe you can try and close with a I, I don't know.

VF Corp reporting fourth quarter earnings, the van's owner coming out with those numbers and speaking of which vans expected to be weak here.

But if you look at the, um, at the numbers, the company, sorry here adjusted loss per share from continuing operations and unexpected loss there of 32 cents adjusted earnings per share of 1.3 cents is what analysts had been anticipating.

So an unexpected loss there on an operating business basis.

And the company also saying 2025 revenue will rise by 10%.

This is after its fourth quarter revenue.

Did miss analyst estimates they're naming a new CFO as well.

So that's amongst the announcements we're getting there from the of course, yes, the company controls vans North Face Dick and they did hire the new CEO over the summer.

There's been kind of these concerns.

I mean, the stock has been under a lot of pressure heading into the even a lot of concerns about weakness in North America wholesale direct to consumer.

And you, you know, the street, even with that stock being hit.

Not much love, you know, you think sometimes people street starts to think things are priced in but most still on the sidelines.

Yeah, just quickly here, I'm looking at the division breakdown vans revenue in the fourth quarter down 26% North face revenue down by 5%.
