British cybersecurity firm Darktrace has reached a deal to be acquired by US private equity firm Thoma Bravo for $5.3 billion. “The Darktrace Board recognises that there are risks to, as well as uncertainty as to the timing and delivery of, shareholder returns on the public market.”
Sales at the chain grew by almost 25%
Darktrace’s three year stay on the London stock market is set to end after the cybersecurity firm backed a £4 billion takeover by a US private equity firm. The developments came as mining giant Anglo American said it had rejected BHP’s “opportunistic” £31 billion bid approach.
