Ferrari's plans to continue building internal combustion engine cars powered by so called e-fuels does not conflict with its target to become carbon neutral by 2030, its chief executive said on Tuesday. Italian sports car maker Ferrari said it has signed a deal with Enel's Enel X to build a 1 megawatt peak (MWp) solar energy plant next to its Fiorano test track in order to offer green energy to the local community.
